Thunder and rain and clouds as far as you can see cover the area. Springfield is getting some rain. The rumble is almost constant at 2:10 p.m. This morning it was a beautiful and sunny day, not hot, but just right. Our fruit trees, although small, all have tiny fruit on them. Apricots, peaches, nectarines and plumbs. We are blessed this spring with rain. I can hear it pour outside.

I have recently updated my contact email for this blog and discontinued allowing users to post to the blog. I am going to use this blog just for local news and comments. That way, I can easily keep current news on the site without having to create web pages and uploading and linking and all that stuff that I don’t have time to do anymore.
Feel free to contact me if you have any important news you would like me to post.

The snow is piled high between the snow plowed paths down Springfield Streets on December 21.
It does not seem to be melting, so I guess its time to build igloos and snow sculptures. Click on the pictures below for an enlargement.

It’s 5:30 a.m. and still dark outside. There is a huge snow drift in my driveway and between me and my Mom’s back door. I will have to put on my snow shoes to get anywhere tomorrow.
