Nadene Neal received the Best of Show for the amateur division at the Walsh Art Center's Harvest of Arts June 4th. Neal has been painting for six years. This has been a life-long dream for her and she has really enjoyed painting since she retired three years ago.

This year the Merchant's Choice was given by Baca County Feedyard. A Garden City artist, Wanda Stallings was the winner with her watercolor painting. She was also the Best of Show winner in the professional division.

Entries in this year's show represented artists from Garden City, Kansas to Pueblo, Colorado to Fritz, Texas.

Sandy Campion, pictured right, recieved the Merchants award for her graphic charcoal and pencil work "Just waiting," picured right. Her inspiration for the work was taken from a branding day at Kim.
